Of course, she said yes to the thirty-seven-pound calf and rushed all three to the vet at Nemo Farm Animal Hospital at Cornell University. The smallest and last was named Blitzen and his two friends where Lawrence and Alexander.
All three had grim diagnoses, but all three pulled through. Blitzen was the healthiest one, but even he had pneumonia and needed a blood transfusion immediately.
