A year later, King fell on hard times and without a place to go, they were out on the streets.
They lived in their storage building, in motels, and finally in an apartment for a few months before they again fell behind and lost their lease.
This time, there was a friend they could stay with while they got back on their feet. Once again, King secured the money for an apartment deposit.
